Dr Gareth Morgan (Executive Director)
PhD (economics) Victoria University

Gareth worked for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in the early 1980s before founding Infometrics Limited, a private economic forecasting and consulting business, in 1983. The company has developed into one of New Zealand’s leading independent economics businesses. In 2000, Gareth established Gareth Morgan Investments Limited, a personal portfolio investment business, which has grown to be one of the biggest businesses of its type in New Zealand. He is a director of Infometrics Limited; he was a director of Trade Me Limited until 2006; and he was a director of the listed company Property For Industry Limited from 1994 - 2008. Gareth has been involved with investment management since 1990 when he developed a portfolio management advisory service for Infometrics Limited’s clients operating in the funds management industry. Andrew Gawith (Executive Director)
MAgrCom (econ) Canterbury University’s Lincoln College

Andrew worked in Britain for four years before joining Gareth Morgan to found Infometrics Limited in 1983. Since 2000, Andrew has been the managing director of the business, growing the forecasting client base to around 100 of New Zealand’s leading businesses. He regularly presents in-house forecast seminars to many of these clients and often consults on a broad range of areas, including business strategy development and government policy.

Stuart Bremner (Executive Director)

Stuart joined Kiwibank as General Manager Wealth and Insurance in June 2011 and led the acquisition of Gareth Morgan Investments. In addition to being a Director of GMI, he is the CEO of Kiwi Insurance.

Prior to joining Kiwibank, he headed ASB Group Investments, was an executive at ASB Securities New Zealand and an Executive Director/Vice President in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs. Stuart has worked in the financial services, education and technology sectors across the US, UK and Asia.

Stuart has an MBA from the University of Oxford, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Company Secretary (ACIS).

Paul Brock (Chair)

Paul Brock was appointed Chief Executive of Kiwibank in September 2010. He was part of the team that created Kiwibank in 2002. Since then Paul’s held a number of key positions within the bank, including General Manager Marketing and, most recently, General Manager Savings and Transactions.

Paul has an extensive background in New Zealand’s banking industry, including senior managerial positions with Westpac and Trustbank. Paul holds a degree in Business Studies from Massey University.
